Lynn Hatton – President

Lynn Hatton’s entire professional career has revolved around helping both students and institutions to accelerate their respective achievements. For 15 years, Lynn led The Princeton Review of Southern California whose operation was widely regarded as the most successful in the country. Soon thereafter, she founded Adelante Educational Services, a company solely focused on increasing student support in underserved communities. Lynn’s gift is to develop sensible, effective and mutually beneficial partnerships with the end goal of helping students be successful whether they attend a four year university or go directly into their career. Her role in InnovateED is to facilitate community school reform, oversee student based programs and provide all business support. Lynn has served on several state and county educational committees and sits on the Board of Trustees in her district. Lynn is very active in her community and volunteers in animal rescue and mentors foster youth. She is married with two middle school-age children.

Jay Westover – Chief Learning Officer

Jay Westover has provided leadership training and school improvement consulting in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Education, state departments of education, colleges, educational service centers, urban and rural school districts and school sites across North America. His work highlighting the role of the central office in implementing professional learning communities is featured in the highly acclaimed book The Collaborative Administrator. Over the past several years he has been recognized as a leader in the field of secondary school reform and college and career readiness. Of primary focus has been his work in closing the achievement gap in secondary schools through the implementation of data-driven instructional cycles. Jay’s role in InnovateED is to oversee the development of consulting services and expansion of strategic partnerships. His passion is working with clients to maximize results and organizational performance, and enjoys providing performance-based coaching to leaders. Over the past 17 years Jay has had the privilege of serving as county office administrator of educational leadership services, middle school principal, high school assistant principal and secondary teacher. Jay is an active supporter of community-based projects, and is a member of several organizations that promote the success of at-risk youth. He is married with three elementary-aged children.
